1. Who is responsible
QuantLions is operated by Matheus Dümpelmann. Privacy questions and data requests can be sent to [email protected].
2. Information we process
- Account and authentication information, such as name, email address, account identifiers, and login events.
- Research inputs and results, including strategy configurations, symbols, timeframes, backtest requests, saved experiments, and generated analytics.
- Billing and subscription information. Payment-card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by QuantLions.
- Technical and security information, including IP address, device and browser information, timestamps, diagnostic logs, and abuse-prevention signals.
- Support messages and any information you choose to include in them.
- Information supplied through ChatGPT that is necessary to complete the request you make with the QuantLions app.
3. Why we use information
We process information to provide accounts and research services, execute and display requested backtests, calculate usage credits, secure the platform, diagnose failures, respond to support requests, administer subscriptions, and meet legal obligations.
Where applicable, the legal bases include performance of a contract, steps requested before entering a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, consent where requested, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Service providers and ChatGPT
We use service providers for infrastructure, authentication, payments, communications, monitoring, and customer support. They process information only for the services they provide and under applicable contractual safeguards.
When you use the QuantLions app in ChatGPT, relevant parts of your request are sent to QuantLions so the requested research can be performed. OpenAI separately processes information under its own terms and privacy policy.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the service or its users, or as part of a properly structured business transaction.
5. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, including account operation, saved research, security, billing, dispute resolution, and legal recordkeeping. Retention periods differ by data category. Account deletion requests may be subject to records we must retain by law.
We use technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to the competent data-protection authority.
Send requests to [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
7. Updates
We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. The current version and its effective date will remain available on this page.
